Happy Friday, friends! I hope everyone had a great week!
I want to give a big THANK YOU for all the sweet comments, well wishes and prayers that have been said for Kai. If you missed it, you can read about our crazy week here. Kai has been such a trooper, and while he is extremely fussy and clingy at times, he has been a rock star. We go back to the doctor today, I'm praying that we get some good news and figure out how much longer he'll be in a cast. Thank you again!

This week we were finally able to pick some strawberries from our garden! The boys help me every day water the garden and take care of the plants and without fail Kona asks me if we can pick the strawberries. When we told him he could have some he was beyond excited. They were delicious and I can't wait to make strawberry margaritas!

Last weekend the boys and I went on a 5 hour road trip to see one of my best friends and celebrate her sweet boys 7th birthday. It was a whirlwind trip, but we had the best time! While one the drive, I finally listened to S-town. I've been wanting to listen to it for months, but haven't found the time. Has anybody else listened to this podcast? I loved it and found it really interesting. I'm now on the hunt for a new podcast, and would love to hear what your loving!

Last year we got Kona a bike for his birthday and he never really got the hang of it. This year is a completely different story and he is loving his bike! He's been getting the hang of it and riding it around our patio. On Wednesday we took our first official bike ride to the park and he did amazing. He was so proud of himself and keep yelling, as he was riding, "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" I have to admit I got a little teary eyed watching him. It was one of those moments, where I realized how big he is getting. I love this sweet boy so much and I'm so blessed to be his Mom.

Kona's birthday party is next weekend and we are so excited! He picked a dinosaur theme and I have been busy planning and getting some decorations ready. Two of my cousins came over yesterday to see the boys, and they kindly helped me cut out leaves and dinosaur footprints. I can't wait to see it all come together!
