Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's already Friday, this week went by so fast. We had a wonderful week hanging with friends, playing in the pool, checking lots of things off my to-do list and hanging out as a family because J.D. had two days off this week! Here are a few of my favorite moments from this week. :)

ONE

The boys and I took mommy and me pictures and I'm in LOVE with them! I have know Amber since elementary school and she does such a fabulous job. The boys also feel comfortable with her which is a huge help! I'll be sharing the whole session next week, along with some tips on taking pictures with toddlers!

TWO

I got these sandals a few weeks ago and the weather is finally nice enough to wear them! I'm obsessed with the pom pom trend, so when I saw these sandals I fell in love. I know they will be my go to shoe this summer.  

Three

I got a migraine this week, which was not one of my favorite moments, but Kona taking care of me was. This migraine was the worst one I have ever had and J.D. was working out of town. I know I should have called someone to come help me, but it came on so strong and fast I couldn't really do much but lay down. After I put Kai down for a nap, Kona tucked blankets around me, kissed my cheek, told me goodnight and sat by my side until Kai woke up. Later that day he picked me flowers to make me feel better. :) He has the biggest heart and I couldn't be more blessed or proud. If anybody has any remedies for migraines I would love to hear them. Nothing has been working when I get them.

FOUR

 Laying in the grass, watching the clouds, with my boys was definitely a favorite moment this week. Kona saw every animal imaginable and Kai laid with us for a minute, before he tried eating sand from the sand box. :) 

FIVE

With Mother's Day this weekend I wanted to share some of my favorite posts about Mom.

On Wednesday I wrote about A Mother's Heart. I interviewed 5 of my best friends, about the highs and lows of Motherhood and what they want every parent to know. I thank God for these amazing women every day. I truly would be lost without them.
